Project Manager, Permanent Opportunity Hong Kong

The Provisioning Manager’s primary role is to provide management of the provisioning projects and coordinaition of resource responsibilities for projects within operations.  Duties include enterprise-level project management, compiling weekly provisioning reports, and tracking internal operations projects.

Responsibilities will include being the primary customer contact for defined scope(s) of work in on-boarding and migration ofnew clients.​ The position involves extensive collaboration with Security Operations, Network Engineering, Sales and Marketing.​ The candidate must bedetail oriented, have an IT background, possess ability to multitask, provide the highest level of customer service, and work under limited supervision.​

The Provisioning Manager role has the following responsibilities:

●      Direct and manage all routed service provisioning projects from beginning to end

●      Define project scope, goals and deliverables foreach individual customer deployment

●      Develop and distribute full-scale project plansand track all associated communications and documents

●      Effectively communicate project status,expectations, delays, required resources and goals to team members, executives,and customers in a timely and clear fashion

●      Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders onan ongoing basis

●      Revise project scope, expectations, goals,resources and deadlines as required by specifics of each provisioning condition

●      Develops project schedules and documentation forclient data migrations and other projects as assigned; monitors and controlswork in progress for technical adequacy; and provides active assistance to meet schedules or resolve complex technical or customer requirements.​

●      Track all conference calls related to provisioningprojects and new product roll outs.

●      Work with other internal departments to ensurequality delivery of service, as well as provide metrics on service assurance and delivery.

●      Ability to handle issues of extreme complexityunder pressure

●      Communicate on an executive level, internally andwith customers

●      Provide requirement documents and compileusability feedback on new operations tools.

●      Provide daily reports on technical projectactivities and resource usage.

●      Must be able to work with multidisciplinary teamson various projects.

●      Identify opportunities that can improve efficiencyof business processes.

●      Proactively manage changes in project scope,identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

●      Define project success criteria and disseminatethem to involved parties throughout project life cycle.

●      Set and continually manage project expectationswith team members and other stakeholders.

●      Manage, document and track all Operations specialprojects

●      Minimum of a Bachelors degree; with 5-10 years work experience in a relevant technical discipline

●      Experience in project management leading clients and team members through large complex system implementations and integrations

●      Minimum of 3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.

●      PMP Certification

●      Experience with networking technologies (Cisco/Juniper) a plus

●      Knowledge of Denial of Service attack mitigation a huge plus

Education Requirements:

●      B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, DIS, CS  or equivalent experience.

●      Certifications (PMP, CISSP, CCNA or ITIL) a plus.

Our client is a global organization currently undergoing a large scale program of work to effectively integrate several acquisitions, reduce the overall complexity of` the environment, and ultimately improve the customer experience by delivering improved operational efficiencies and process improvements at an Enterprise level. As such, we are seeking a seasoned Program Manager with the maturity to operate effectively across multiplebusiness units to ensure business objectives are fully understood andincorporated into the IT solutions, and ultimately delivered by globally distributed teams. 

This is a true project leadership role focused on building internal relationships and internal capability by being a key bridge between business units, technology and project teams to execute.  Mentoring several Project Managers to ensure project plans are fully developed in line with key strategic objectives and timelines will also be key.
